Privacy Policy

Magnetic Metal Prints ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles your personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. What we collect

• Order details: name, email, phone number, delivery address
• Any photos you upload to our Custom Print Studio, for the purpose of producing your print
• Basic order history (what you bought, when, and its status)

We do not collect or store your card or banking details — payments are handled directly by PayFast, our payment processor.

2. How we use it

• To process, produce, and ship your order
• To send order status emails (payment received, in production, shipped)
• To respond to enquiries sent via our contact form or email

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in.

3. Where it's stored

Order and account information is stored in our own database. Your shopping cart is stored locally in your browser (not on our servers) until you check out. Payment processing data is handled entirely by PayFast under their own privacy policy.

4. Your rights

Under POPIA, you can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it (e.g. for tax/accounting records)

5. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart between pages. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you check out.
